We don't have any way to restore deleted tasks, but we have constantly heard this feedback. = stopFromThreadīasically, it is just wrapping the if inside a try.except block. Hi Michael Right now, the only way to un-delete tasks is to hit the 'Undo delete' button in the toast when you first delete it. Also there should not be a permanently delete option unless you’re an admin, or unless you were the one that created the item you deleted. It should show who deleted the item and when. If int(twisted._version_.split('.')) < 11: There NEEDS to be a deleted items bin that everyone in the project can view and recover from. Replace the lines 161-167 by this code: try: Here is a small fix I made, which works on my machine (I can't guarantee at this point that this will work for you, but I certainly hope so): Have you ever accidentally deleted a task in Asana and had no clue how to get it back Or has someone else in your project deleted a task and you got frustra. I tried copy the tasks-by-task using ctrl-c / ctrl-v beteween the old and new tsk files, however the problem still happens on the new tsk, after copy few tasks. because even when I remove all efforts, the problem still happen. I prefer the later, however, this requires to change the source code in '/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/taskcoachlib/application/application.py'. It should be safe to uninstall and reinstall also, but I cant 100 guarantee. the second one would be to prevent this bug directly in taskcoach's code. I don't like this option, because this could break other packages (amongst other things) python2-twisted, in the extras repository). Perhaps upgrading or downgrading this package, using either pip (for Python2.7) or an ArchLinux package (e.g. ![]() I already tried to uninstall and reinstall Task Coach but problem is still the same. Windows hourglass is displayed one or two seconds after I double-clicked on Task Coach icon but nothing happens after that. Since then Task Coach doesnt start any more. the first one would be to have a different version of Twisted. Yesterday I got Windupdate on my PC (64-bits). In my case, this is the '0dev0' part the problem (can't be represented as an int, hence the ValueError). I understand that it is WpcRefreshTask.dll now instead of WpcWebSync.I have the same problem and made a fix this error is caused by an exception when trying to parse the Twisted package's version (which is, on my machine, '18.7.0dev0'). OK, it turns out the Anniversary update did change this task so that a different dll type of library is executed Patched the depends on the PKGBUILD to wxpython>2.8 3. Went to the website and discovered that the software is supposed to work with wxpython2.8 or newer. Unfortunately, I can't import any task from that folder as every time I attempt to do that a message appears that says the task scheduler service is not available at the moment.Īny suggestions how I can re-create or import these two tasks (Refresh and Upload)? Have they been changed somehow by the latest update of Windows 10? Just thought Id post my workaround for getting this up and running: 1. Now, there is a folder on my PC C:\windows\system32\Tasks.migrated that has all the tasks as they were before migration to the Anniversary update (I presume that by the date), all the files in there seem to be in xml format although do not have that extension. So, an over-the-shoulder extension option ("my parents are here") was the only one that worked.Īs I tried to remedy this dysfunction, I deleted the Family Safety settings files in the Program Data folder and wanted to re-run the Family Safety Refresh and Upload tasks in the Task Scheduler so that a fresh set of appropriate time limits and permission settings would get itself downloaded on the PC.īy accident, unfortunately, I ended up actually deleting these tasks and now am wondering if there is a way to re-create (or restore) them. Once Windows 10 got itself updated to the Anniversary edition, I noticed there was some problem with the Family Safety feature - namely, whenever my kids asked me for a remote extension of the time limit, and I granted it, it simply wouldn't push through to the PC. ![]()
